While most newscasts are reporting on the recession, and Americans are cutting back on everything from vacations to groceries thanks to high gas and food prices, church giving does not have to experience a similar decline. As such, this is the prime time for church leaders to focus on their ongoing ministry funding and capital campaigns. In addition, the local church has an unprecedented opportunity to expand ministry efforts into the community.
