There’s No Such Thing as a Second Impression
These Printing Tools Can Help You Put Your Best Face Forward — and Save Some Cash While You’re At It

When it comes to in-house printing, church leaders are primarily interested in three things: saving time, saving money, and ...well ... saving more time and money. Of course, with that comes the desire to make a good first impression.

Plug, Play and Print

The Duplo 330L offers impressive 300 x 600-dpi resolution and is designed for churches and schools that demand various mono- and spot-color printing applications on a wide array of paper stocks, including construction paper, card stock, envelopes and newsletters.

The 330L’s 1,200-sheet feed-and-stack capacity and optional 60-sheet ADF allow for touch-and-go printing to increase productivity and decrease downtime. Push-button image-position rotation eliminates the need to manually change an image’s position. Registration adjustment is electronically driven four ways to increase both image control and ease of operation.

Desktop printing is easily accessible with a simple touch. And this machine’s unique integrated computer interface is standard with a bi-directional parallel-port connection, allowing for easy plug-and-play printing on demand. An optional flash-card reader is also available, letting you save various images and documents on a small memory card, which is then inserted directly into the DP-330L. Direct from Xerox FreeColorPrinters!

If your church settles for black-and-white printing when you’d prefer color — and if it spends too much money sending out its print jobs — an in-house setup could be the perfect solution. Fortunately, through its unique FreeColorPrinters program, Xerox offers FREE networked color printers to qualifying churches to get you started in style. Xerox’s risk-free FreeColorPrinters program gives you the power of a free Xerox Phaser® printer to print newsletters, brochures, marketing materials and other documents.

If your church qualifies, it could receive a free Xerox Phaser® Solid Ink Color Printer, a three-year service agreement, email and toll-free telephone support, online ordering and direct shipment of supplies, plus access to a members-only website featuring a variety of valuable tools and templates — up to a $4,000 retail value! Apply online at www.FreeColorPrinters.com/c043 or call 888.518.2076.

A Winning Combination

More and more churches are turning to the combination of ACS software and the Rena Imager inkjet system for their addressing and mailing needs to save time and money.

“There are only a couple of steps necessary to make the ACS work with the Rena Imager, regardless of whether your church is mailing newsletters, postcards or envelopes,” explains Richard Williams, owner of Innovative Office Systems, an addressing-systems dealer in Charlotte, N.C. “You just use the standard Windows™ driver to run the system. It’s very easy to hook up the hardware and the software.”

The combination of ACS and Rena Imager simplifies a variety of tasks, including weekly newsletters. If, for example, your church must inform 2,000 families about what’s happening on the weekend, the newsletters must be sent on a Tuesday or Wednesday. If you’re having volunteers doing it, an average person can only peel and affix about 250 labels per hour, but the Imager can do 22,000 pieces per hour. So, you’d need to enlist the help of 88 people for one hour to do what the Imager can do.

For details about the Imager, log on to www.renausa.com or call 888.444.RENA. To learn more about ACS software, check out www.acstechnologies.com/churches or call 800.736.7425.

Do You Dream in Color?

FreePrinters.com provides free high-performance Xerox Phaser™ color printers to churches, businesses and nonprofits.

The Free Printers program is designed for churches needing to print 1,000 to 50,000 color pages per month, explains Founder Dennis Walthers. “Your only obligation is to purchase a monthly supply of ink at a cost of $225 — something that would need to be bought anyway.”

Additionally, FreePrinters.com offers up to 30 percent off the retail price of inks and toners. At the end of two years, the printer is yours to keep, or you can upgrade to the latest technology and continue to receive the monthly ink shipments and onsite service. An online application is available at www.freeprinters.com.
